Plugs are seedlings that are germinated and grow in trays of small cells. Plugblock® kits make it easy to grow plugs. Each Plugblock growing tray holds 40 plugs.
Plugblock Trays keep roots undisturbed when transplanting. The shape of each cell encourages the roots to bind together with the soil into a single plug. This plug is easily extractable and doesn't fall apart when removed.
When it's time to transplant, simply push the plugs out of the trays. The inside surface of the cells is made of specially fused plastic. Extraction is easy – so is clean-up!
